Libby Christenson

Libby recently graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a BA in Community Psychology and a minor in Sociology. During her first year of study, she quickly became interested in community work and youth development. She started volunteering as a mentor for adolescents during after-school programs and went on to intern as a research assistant, co-facilitating group therapy sessions in order to reduce stress in teens. After graduation, Libby worked for Chicago Adventure Therapy, providing therapeutic outdoor programs to build social-emotional skills among underserved youth. Libby enjoys collaborating and improving “community wellness”. She is a certified Yoga for Youth instructor and self proclaimed “backpacktivist” who believes in traveling with a purpose.
